Economic Freedom Fighters deputy president, Floyd Shivambu, has re-iterated that Cyril Ramaphosa must step down immediately as the country’s president, amid all the frustration and uncertainty around load-shedding.
Shivambu says has Ramaphosa failed to take responsibility and accountability for power utility Eskom’s problems.
The EFF says it will not accept, that while the ANC is subjecting ordinary South Africans to eleven hours of load-shedding per day, the presidential residences and those of Cabinet ministers, are exempted from power cuts.
Shivambu says Ramaphosa must do the honorable thing, and vacate his seat, in the same manner, Andre de Ruyter did as Eskom CEO.
