EFF Marches Against Phoenix Killings

The EFF is currently embarking on a march in Phoenix, north of Durban.

The march is against those involved in criminal acts which saw 36 people being killed during the recent unrest in the province.

EFF Provincial Chairperson Vusi Khosa says they will be marching in accordance with the law.

Meanwhile, DA leader John Steenhuisen has written to the Human Rights Commission in an attempt to stop this march.

Steenhuisen says the EFF aim is to stir up racial tensions and flare-up violence between Black and Indian residents.

The South African Human Rights Commission has decided not to stop the EFF march.
