Eskom announces stages 4 and 5 load shedding

Eskom will be implementing stage 4 and 5 load-shedding this week due to capacity constraints as a result of breakdowns.
Stage four load-shedding came into effect at 5 this morning until 4 in the afternoon, followed by stage five from then until 5 tomorrow morning.
This pattern will be repeated daily until further notice.
Eskom’s, Menzi Mngomezulu, says over the past 24 hours, a generating unit each at Arnot, Camden, Kendal, and Palmiet power stations were returned to service.
