Eskom Appreciates Tough NERSA Revenue Decision

Power utility Eskom has welcomed the decision made by the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa) for the 2024/2025 financial year’s revenue determinations.

Eskom general manager for Regulation, Hasha Tlhotlhalemaje, says the power utility recognises the pressures this will place on consumers.

She says once NERSA makes a decision on the restructuring of tariffs, it will ensure Eskom can apply the tariff adjustments to its customers from the 1 April.
