Eskom briefs Public Enterprises Committee on annual report

Eskom chairperson, Jabu Mabuza, says the power utility has made a net loss of R21 billion Rands after tax in the 2018/2019 financial year.

Mabuza is briefing the Public Enterprises Committee on the company’s annual report in Parliament.

On the 2017/2018 financial year Eskom made a net loss of R2.3 billion.

Mabuza says the generation energy availability factor stands at 70%.
