Eskom has issued court papers and filed an affidavit against Deloitte Consulting for the setting aside of contracts and the recovery of funds amounting to more than 207 million Rands.
It says this relates to work improperly awarded during 2016.
Eskom also calls for its former financial chief, Anoj Singh, and senior executive, Prish Govender, to pay the costs of the application.
The power supplier says it has promised South Africans that it will pursue all ill-gotten funds that were extracted from Eskom during the days of state capture.
