Exams To Continue Until Thursday

The Department of Basic Education says the National Senior Certification exams will now end on Thursday.
This is a result of the rewrite opportunities arising from disruptions in some parts of the country.
Department spokesperson Elijah Mhlanga says during the writing of the exams, they received reports requesting that some candidates be granted permission to rewrite examinations in selected subjects.
He says load-shedding, community protests, and floods were some of the reasons submitted by provincial education departments for the missed exams.
