President Cyril Ramaphosa says the fight against corruption and state capture has required extensive measures to stabilise and revitalise law enforcement agencies.
Ramaphosa is answering questions in the National Assembly, on the measures being taken against state capture, corruption and racial polarisation in the society.
He says much work has been done to ensure the law enforcement agencies have the necessary skills, resources needed to probe corruption.
The president adds that the fight against corruption and state capture have been taken up to the State owned entities.
“At PRASA, 28 matters have been referred to the Special Investigating Unit for investigation and the Hawks are investigating dockets emanating from the Public Protector’s report”, states Ramaphosa.
