KZN Flood-Stricken Schools To Be Fixed

KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Education, Mbali Frazer, says the department is doing something to fix the schools that were affected by the floods last year.

Frazer together with Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga has visited schools in the Umlazi District south of Durban to monitor the reopening of coastal schools.

Addressing the media Frazer says the KZN department has provided some of the affected schools with mobile classrooms for learning purposes.

The MEC says in terms of schools that need face-lifting due to aging infrastructure plans to renovate them are on tender stages.
