Former Police Officer Sentenced To Life In Prison For Murder

The High Court in Pietermaritzburg has sentenced a former police officer to life and 40-years imprisonment for murder, attempted murder, extortion and possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
Thembelani Headman Dlamini had worked at the crime intelligence unit, before becoming a taxi owner.
According to National Prosecuting Authority regional spokesperson Natasha Ramkisson-Kara in 2019 Dlamini shot and killed one of his relatives at a petrol station in a revenge shooting for the death of his friend.
