Four members of the National Assembly have been reprimanded for contravening the Code of Ethical Conduct and Disclosure of Member’s Interests.
This follows the adoption of the report of the Joint Committee on Ethics and Members’ Interest.
Parliament spokesperson, Moloto Mothapo, says of the 454 members who are required to submit their disclosures only four, Inkatha Freedom Party’s Elphas Buthelezi and Mkhuleko Hlengwa, African National Congress’s Ponani Makhubele, and EFF’s Brenda Mathebula missed the 30 November 2021 submission deadline.
