Fuel Hike at Midnight

The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy has announced that petrol will increase by 29 cents a litre from midnight.
Diesel will increase by at least 42 cents a litre, while illuminating paraffin will retail for an additional 36 cents a litre.
The department says the main reason for fuel price adjustments include crude oil prices and international petroleum product prices.
Automobile Association’s Layton Beard says these increases come at a bad time especially for consumers.
