GAGASI FM PRESENTER SEARCH TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Before you enter the presenter search please read terms and conditions below:
2. By entering the presenter search and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. The outcome of the presenter search is subject to the decision of the judge, presenter or organizer of the presenter search, whose decision is final. No negotiations and or correspondence will be entered into after the fact.
4. Participants / listeners enter into and take part in the presenter search at their own risk and Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd bears no responsibility for any loss, damage or harm suffered as a result of participation in any of Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd’s competition.
5. The Gagasi Fm Presenter Search is brought to you by Gagasi Fm. The presenter search starts at 00:00 on Thursday, 6 July 2023, and ends at 23:59 on Friday, 28 July 2023.
6. The presenter search is looking for a presenter who will join the Saturday show Umsindo Takeover, 4pm – 7pm hosted by Mkay Music, the winning entrant will be co-hosting on that show.
7. To enter the presenter search, listeners must download and register on the Gagasi Fm app, then record a 1-minute demo video, send the video with their contact details and the hashtag #GFMRisingStar to the Gagasi Fm app, on the “Message the studio” tab by Friday 28 July 2023.
8. The presenter search is open to South African residents, between 18 to 25 years, who are fluent in isiZulu and English.
9. During the month of July, the internal station judging panel will shortlist possible candidates up until they have the Top 5 candidates. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. The prize winner will be announced on Saturday, 5 August 2023.
10. The shortlisted Top 5 candidates will be required to co-present on-air on Gagasi Fm, on Monday 31 July on various shows between 6am to 6pm.
11.The public/listeners will be invited to voice their opinion via the Gagasi Fm Facebook page, and their opinions will be noted by the “Like” reaction, on the Top 5 videos. Public votes constitute 30% of the overall final judging (which will be audited) however, the final decision lies with the internal judging panel.

12. The winning presenter will be awarded the following prize: R10 000 cash prize courtesy of Vodacom NXT LVL, a Gagasi FM hamper valued at R1000, and a 12-month contract (Independent Contractor), with Gagasi FM.
13. Winners will be notified telephonically and the judge’s decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. The Prize is not transferable to another person.
15. The winning presenter will need to provide Gagasi FM with a copy of their bar-coded Identity Document or birth certificate.
16. Gagasi FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud, cheating including without limitation through the manipulation of codes or otherwise falsifying data.
17. Entries which contain errors will be invalid.
18. Any entries received after the presenter search has ended will not be eligible to participate in the presenter search, regardless of the reason for the late entry.
19. Gagasi FM is not liable for any technical failure that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
20. You will be disqualified if:
