GAGASIFM KHAVA COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Before you enter the competition please read competition rules below:

1. By entering the competition and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. The outcome of the competition is subject to the decision of the judge, presenter or organizer of the competition, whose decision is final. No negotiations and or correspondence will be entered into after the fact
3. Participants / listeners enter into and take part in competitions at their own risk and Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd bears no responsibility for any loss, damage or harm suffered as a result of participation in any of Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd’s competition;
4. The #GagasiFMKhava Competition is brought to you by Gagasi FM and will run from; the 15th of September 2020 till the 30th of November 2020 on either; The Uprising (6am-9am) or The Midmorning Hangout (9am-12pm) or Noma Yini (12pm-3pm) or That Drive (3pm-6pm) on Gagasi FM, entrants need to listen to Gagasi FM for the competition moments
5. To enter the competition:

• • a. Listeners need to send a picture to The studio via the Gagasi FM app. The picture needs to show Gagasi FM, what they would like Gagasi FM to assist with financially- this should be clear in the picture- the hashtag #GagasiFMKhava needs to be included with picture being sent to the studio
  • b. Entrants then need to listen to Gagasi FM, when the sonic trigger goes off on-air, which includes this phrase “iGagasi FM Khava, could erase leso sikweletu edolweni, ikukhave R5000 cash”, this will signal the start of the competition moment and entrants need to be prepared to answer a call from the studio with the phrase: “Gagasi FM liyangi-K H A V A!” Should the entrant not answer the phone call from the studio with the phrase, they will not be awarded the prize money and it will roll over to the next competition moment, making the prize money R10 000 in the next competition moment. Furthermore, when the entrant answers the call and speaks, the presenters must be able to clearly hear all the words, failing which the entrant will be disqualified. Entrants are not allowed to wait for the presenters to say; “Hello/Hi” before they say the phrase, “Gagasi FM liyangi-K H A V A!”.
  • c. Should the entrant fail to answer the call the presenters in studio will call another entrant, and no correspondence will be entered into

7. Prize: R5000 cash per competition moment
8. Winners will be notified telephonically and judge’s decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. Prize distribution will be made by Gagasi FM, between the 1st of October 2020 and the 4th of January 2021, between office hours (08h00 – 16h00)
10. Winners must provide a copy of their South African ID/Smart cards and banking details in order to claim their prize from Gagasi FM. If the ID number does not match that of the winning entrant, then the winner will be disqualified.
11. If there is an error in the banking details provided by the winner to Gagasi FM, Gagasi FM will not be held liable for any direct, indirect or consequential damages.
12. Gagasi FM will not be held liable for any damages incurred when entering or trying to enter the completion
13. No entries by post or any other form will be accepted by Gagasi FM.
14. Gagasi FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud, cheating including without limitation through the manipulation of codes or otherwise falsifying data.
15. Entries which contain errors will be invalid.
16. Winners will have to provide Gagasi FM with their correct banking details and ID copies.
17. Any entries received after the competition moment will not be eligible to participate in the competition, regardless of the reason for the late entry. Gagasi FM is not liable for any technical failure that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
18. You will be disqualified if:
• You are under the age of 18 at the time of entering the competition
• You have won a competition conducted by Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd in the past three months
