Gordhan Denies Meeting Guptas

Public Enterprises minister Pravin Gordhan says he rejects any assertion that he had anything to do with the controversial Guptas.

Gordhan was cross-examined by Advocate Dali Mpofu, on behalf of former South African Revenue Service commissioner, Tom Moyane, at the State Capture Commission of Inquiry on Tuesday.

He says he had no business engaging with the Gupta brothers.

Gordhan had previously accused Moyane of having used his position to advance state capture when he was at the revenue service.

He says it is imperative to note that state capture goes beyond criminality.
