Gungubele Rejects US Warning Of Possible Sandton Terror Attack

Minister in the Presidency, Mondli Gungubele, says they would urgently inform South Africans of any immediate threats, should the need arise.
This comes as the US Embassy has issued a warning of a threat about a possible terror attack targeting large gatherings at an unspecified location in Sandton, Johannesburg.
The government says it has noted the warning and threats are assessed continuously and are acted upon to ensure the safety of all.
It adds that it is the responsibility of the South African security forces to ensure that all people in the country feel safe.
