Minister in the presidency, Mondli Gungubele, says President Cyril Ramaphosa has submitted himself to professional law enforcement to investigate the Phala Phala matter.
Yesterday, Ramaphosa refused to answer questions related to the theft of money from his farm in Limpopo.
Earlier this month, opposition parties held a media briefing where they called for Ramaphosa to step down, to make way for a full investigation into the burglary at his Limpopo farm.
In June ex-spy chief, Arthur Fraser, alleged Ramaphosa was involved in the cover-up of a crime after the theft of millions of dollars from the property.
Gungubele says this is an attempt by opposition parties to embarrass the president.
