High Food Inflation Noted On The Sales And Consumption Of Eggs

The South African Poultry Association says egg producers are struggling to get by as they are being impacted by the high inflation on the produce.

The Association’s Abongile Balarane says rising fuel and electricity costs as well as escalating poultry feed has exacerbated the issue.

He says despite the availability of eggs in stores, they are still unaffordable to many consumers.
