The newly elected ANC leadership of Musa Dladla region in northern KZN has made a commitment to unite and rebuild the lost ground in the region and in turn unite the party.

The ANC lost this region which is one of the largest in KZN, in turn losing King Cetshwayo district municipality in the past local government elections to the IFP.

Musa Cebekhulu emerged from this weekend’s conference as newly elected regional chairperson, with Phiwe Mhlongo as his deputy.

Madanga Xulu is now the regional secretary while Babhekile Mthembu won deputy secretary.

Addressing media earlier, Cebekhulu says they understand the mammoth of work they carry on their shoulders going forward, adding that uniting the ANC, regaining the public’s trust and support as well as servicing the people tops their mandate.
