IFP Is Investigating Umsinga Mayor

The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) says it has dispatched a team of National Council Members to investigate allegations levelled against the Mayor of Msinga, Mletheni Ndlovu.
Ndlovu is accussed of being behind the murder of the party’s ward 11 councillor Siyanda Magubane.
In a video circulating on social media platforms, Lungisani Ntuli who survived the attack was speaking at Magubane’s funeral in Msinga on the weekend when he dropped the bomb.
The mayor denied the allegations and said he would follow the IFP advice on the matter.
Magubane and Ntuli were travelling in a car to ward 19 when the gunmen sprayed their car with bullets.
IFP spokesperson Mkhuleko Hlengwa says they view the development in a serious light.
