Imbewu Poultry Farm – Gagasi FM 15th Birthday SMME Competition Winner

Imbewu Poultry Farm is a local farm-based in Pietermaritzburg in a local area called Kwa-Dambuza.

At Imbewu they have chickens that produce eggs on a daily basis and they sell those eggs to the community, people who bake, local tuck-shops, people who buy to resell, and other people or places. what I like about this farm is that it is registered and is owned by a very hard-working, self-driven young man by the name of Luyanda Msane. they are very professional and friendly they even have a Facebook page where they post their clients or customers to show appreciation.

They aim to bring change in the community and employ more people and I have once engaged with Luyanda and what he expressed is that they wish to get help in terms of finding any help of funding for feed because it is very expensive but still their prices are still reasonable for those who buy to resell so that they can get profit.
