Defence lawyer in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial, Advocate Malesela Teffo, has told the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria that an alleged eyewitness will testify that singer Kelly Khumalo shot Meyiwa by mistake.
He says she used a revolver that belonged to Longwe Twala, who is the son of music producer, Chicco Twala.
Twala was one of the people at the house on the night of the shooting.
Teffo alleges that a meeting was held between the people in the house and high-ranking police officers after Meyiwa was shot dead at Khumalo’s home in Vosloorus, Boksburg in 2014.
