Police say the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) will conduct an investigation after four suspects were killed during a shoot-out with police at Ngoqokazi in Inanda, north of Durban.
The Rapid Rail’s Cross Border and Freight police members were acting on information when they entered a house.
Police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says police found five suspects and while arresting them, two suspects allegedly drew firearms and shot at the police.
