It’s Time for 18s-34s to get Vaccinated

Cabinet has announced that people between 18 and 35 will be able to get vaccinated against COVID-19 from tomorrow.

It says scientific evidence confirms vaccinated people stand a better chance of surviving the disease than people opting not to get a vaccine.

The rollout for this group was initially set to begin on the 1st of September but has been brought forward to increase the vaccines administered.

According too a report from the National Coronavirus Command Council (NCCC) indicates that over nine million vaccines have been administered in the country to date, with over seven million people partially vaccinated and over four million fully vaccinated.

Cabinet also asked South Africans to dispel unfounded and misleading conspiracy theories about the vaccines.
