South Africans are being urged to get vaccinated as government once again hints on a looming fourth wave of COVID-19.
The country has surpassed the 13 million mark for fully vaccinated people, however, the department of health says this is not enough to combat the virus and is nowhere near reaching herd immunity.
The National Institute for Communicable Diseases’s Adrian Puren, say it is advisable that people receive the Covid-19 dose now before active cases spike further.

Meanwhile, Health Minister Joe Phaahla has hinted that the country can expect the fourth wave by mid-December to January.
