Justice Madlanga On the Hot Seat

Constitutional Court Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga says part of his vision is to implement some of the efficiencies that he’s developed with colleagues like Judge Dhaya Piillay, in order to make the Con Court work better.

Madlanga is the first candidate to take the stand as the Judicial Service Commission begins its interviews for the position of the country’s new Chief Justice.

The interviews are presided over by Deputy President of the Supreme Court of Appeals Justice Xola Petse.

Madlanga says the Con Court has started revising its work processes to address delays in delivering judgments.
