Kapinga joins Bucaneers ahead of new season

Orlando Pirates have announced the signing of play-maker Lesedi Kapinga on a three-year deal ahead of the 2023/24 season. The Bucaneers acquired the services of Kapinga on a free transfer from Mamelodi Sundowns, where he struggled to get regular game time as he made 39 appearances in his three-year stay at Chloorkop.

The Limpopo born midfielder will wear the number 21 jersey at Pirates, and will join Sephelo Baloni, Katlego Otladisa, Melusi Buthelezi, and Patrick Maswanganyi as the new signings for the Bucaneers ahead of the 2023/24 season, where they will make their return to the CAF Champions League.
