Kelly Khumalo Will Not Testify in Senzo Meyiwa Murder Trial.

The state in the Senzo Meyiwa murder case has once again confirmed that singer Kelly Khumalo will not be called to the stand as a witness in the trial.
State prosecutor George Baloyi informed the court that Khumalo remains a person of interest in the case. Meyiwa was tragically shot and killed while at Khumalo’s parental home in Vosloorus, on Gauteng’s East Rand.
Five men are currently on trial for the 2014 murder of the Bafana Bafana captain.
Defence counsel Zithulele Nxumalo inquired whether Khumalo would testify before the court. However, Baloyi was quick to clarify that it is at the discretion of the state to decide which witnesses to call and which to exclude, including the investigating officer.
