Khoza Calls For The Arrest Of GBV Perpertrators

Social Development MEC in KwaZulu-Natal, Nonhlanhla Khoza, says she’s not happy that some of the rape and murder perpetrators in Bergville, the North-western part of the province have not been arrested.
Khoza has been speaking during a march and a prayer in Bergville.
The Chairperson of the Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities Committee in Parliament, Nonhlanhla Ncube-Ndaba also joined the march accompanied by other members of parliament from different political parties.
Earlier this year a woman was beaten to death with a hammer by her husband, while a 17-year-old was raped and murdered by unknown men.
Khoza says it is worrying that the man who killed a woman with a hammer has not been arrested adding that the community remains unsafe.
