Mamelodi Sundowns first team coach Steve Komphela says Masandawana are wary of the threat that Stellenbosch FC is going to bring as they’ve been drawn together in the Quarter finals of the Nedbank Cup. The draw took place in Johannesburg on Monday evening, as the last eight teams remaining got to find out who their opponents were for the Quarter finals.

The Brazilians will visit Stellies for the second time this season, after the Western Cape team became only the fourth team to force Sundowns to drop points in the league, as they played a 1-1 draw in March. Stellenbosch is also going into this match with a rich vein of goal-scoring form with 14 goals in their last 5 matches in all competitions, most recently a 6-2 drubbing of TS Galaxy in the Nedbank Cup Round of 16.
Komphela says Stellenbosch are a fascinating team when it comes to their attacking play, and Sundowns need to respect that as they visit the Western Cape side once again.
