A biker has been critically injured in an accident on the N2 North bound near Queen Nandi Drive, north of Durban.
The freeway is currently closed in both directions for the recovery of the wreckage.
Motorist are advised to use alternative routes.
Advanced Life Support Paramedics Spokesperson Robert Mckenzie says a truck believed to be carrying petrol lost control and overturned before crossing over the center medium and colliding with a biker and another vehicle.
