The independent panel that was appointed by the embattled Kwasizabantu Mission, to investigate allegations of rape, money laundering and abuse has finally released its findings and recommendations.

The 50-year-old Kranskop based mission near Maphumulo has been publicly accused by its former members of these atrocities.

When news broke-out of the alleged abuse and corruption, many retailers started to boycott products that are produced by the mission including aQuelle bottled water, fruits and vegetables, prompting the church to establish its own independent panel to investigate the allegations.

The Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities is also doing its own investigation.
