The Vryheid Magistrates court has postponed the case against two ANC Councillors accused of attempting to bribe a DA Councillor.

The case was postponed to the 7th of July, due to the National Prosecuting Authority’s failure to submit statements to the defence teams.

The two are charged with corruption after allegedly attempting to bribe a DA Councillor, in order to unseat the IFP in the Vryheid municipality.

DA Provincial Leader, Francois Rodgers ,says they will continue to closely monitor the case against the two Councillors to ensure that justice and accountability unfolds.
