Suspended Congress of the People (COPE) president, Moseuo Lekota, says if the party wants to release him from his duties, so be it.
Lekota and some members of the party has been briefing the media in Boksburg, which has seen massive disruptions by COPE youth members who came in with fists in the air ready to fight.
Lekota’s suspension was announced yesterday, with deputy president Willie Madisha accusing him of theft, dividing the party and failing to lead adequately.
However Lekota has lashed out at all those accusing him of wrongdoing, saying if COPE members wants him axed, it should be so without slandering his name.
