The South African Post Office (SAPO) says the launch of a service for drivers to renew their motor vehicle licence disc online, will make the renewal process much easier and accessible for all drivers with expired discs.
SAPO says the process including payment for ones disc can be done online.
Should drivers choose to use the Post Office for their licence disc renewal, they will need to collect the disc from a Post Office or have it delivered to their door via courier.
SAPO spokesperson Johan Kruger says the new online service is safe way for drivers to ensure their discs are up to date, as the law requires.
Kruger says the delivery option will come at a cost of R75, adding that they have ensured the website is easy to use and friendly to all.
