President Cyril Ramaphosa says former president Jacob Zuma must be given enough time and space to reflect about his decision on the Constitutional Court’s Judgment and the Zondo Commission.
Ramaphosa has been addressing media outside the home of the late Rebecca Kotane in Soweto.
Last week, the ConCourt ordered Zuma to appear before the commission of inquiry, however Zuma in a letter announced that he will not be participating in the inquiry.
Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo then approached the ConCourt after Zuma walked out of proceedings, when his application for Zondo to recuse himself was denied in November last year.
Earlier today, EFF leader Julius Malema alongside former party Chairperson, Dali Mpofu, arrived in Nkandla to meet with the former president.
Ramaphosa says the call for Zuma’s ANC membership to be suspended is preempting things that are not even under consideration.
