Life Imprisonment for Durban Child Murderer

The police in the province have commended the Verulam Magistrate court, north of Durban, for sentencing a man life imprisonment for killing a child and robbery.
In January this year four men entered a house at Magwaveni area in Othongathi, and held a family at gun point, demanding cash.
Police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says they were given R400 that the family had in the house, but they wanted more.
She adds that they then ransacked the house and fled with two cellphones.
