Load-shedding Escalated To Stage 3

Eskom has confirmed that Stage 3 load-shedding will be implemented from 2PM this afternoon until 5AM on Monday.
Eskom spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha says Stage 2 load-shedding will then be implemented throughout the week ahead.
Mantshantsha says the escalation is due to the loss of an additional five generating units this morning.
