Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma says national and provincial governments must support local government to carry out its responsibilities.

Dlamini-Zuma says to work in a District Development Model, is to ensure that all spheres deliver adequate services to local communities.

She’s been addressing the SA Local Government Association (SALGA) conference underway in Cape Town which aims to unpack the impact of local government in the country.

Minister Dlamini-Zuma says its their constitutional mandate to support all spheres of government.
