The ANC has failed to muster the required two-thirds majority for the National Assembly to amend Section 25 of the constitution.
Amending section 25 of the supreme law of the republic would have allowed for land expropriation without compensation.
The failure comes as as neither the DA nor the EFF supported the amendment as MP’s debated the Constitutional Amendment Bill .
