Maimane resigns as member of parliament and of the DA

Political analyst, Bheki Mngomezulu, says former DA leader, Mmusi Maimane, should’ve resigned from the party instead of just stepping down as the leader of the DA.
When he announced his resignation in a press briefing yesterday, Maimane said the DA was no longer the best vehicle to take forward the vision of one South Africa.
However according to news just in he has now resigned as a member of the DA and a member of Parliament.
Mngomezulu says what Maimane did and said yesterday did not make sense.
