Marches against Lindiwe Zulu continue

Supporters and employees in the early childhood development sector are holding protest and poster marches until Friday this week to protest against the minister of Social Development, Lindiwe Zulu’s, Covid-19 recovery plan.
According to this plan, she wants to use 1,3 billion Rand from the Covid-19 stimulus package to appoint more than 30-thousand young adults as monitors for early childhood development programmes.
A spokesperson for the COVID-19 People’s Coalition says the funds could rather be utilised to keep existing staff in their positions:
