Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union President, Joseph Mathunjwa, has criticised mining bosses over the incident that led to 34 workers being shot and killed by police in Marikana 10 years ago.

Mathunjwa has been speaking at the commemoration of the Marikana Massacre in the North West.

Mineworkers who were part of a strike at Lomnin Mine, who survived the hail of live bullets from police service rifles say the many conditions that they fought for, have not improved at all.

Mathunjwa says mine bosses have no care whatsoever for their employees, as long as they make millions in profit everyday.
