Matric exams progressing smoothly

The Department of Basic Education says it is pleased that the administration of the matric exams has been progressing without any major incidents that could jeopardise its credibility.
The exams entered their third week yesterday when more than 187 thousand candidates wrote Physical Science and just under twelve thousand Technical Sciences.
The department says more than 3 hundred and 12 thousand matrics will sit for their Geography Theory as well as Map Work papers today.
The exams will end on the 28th.
