Mbalula Says ANC NEC Supports Immediate Announcement Of Minister Of Electricity

African National Congress (ANC) secretary-general, Fikile Mbalula, says the National Executive Committee (NEC) has expressed support for President Cyril Ramaphosa’s intervention to appoint a dedicated Minister of Electricity.
Mbalula has been addressing the media on the outcomes of a Special NEC meeting held yesterday to consider a range of organisational, national, and international matters.
He says the minister will lead the charge in driving the necessary interventions aimed at eliminating load-shedding and stabilising the electricity supply in the country.
