Public Service and Administration Minister, Senzo Mchunu, says building a capable, ethical and developmental state is premised on the willingness of public servants to selflessly commit to the public good and adopt a people centric disposition.
A report by Transparency International has revealed that a staggering 70 per cent of people in South Africa believe that the government is not doing enough to tackle corruption.
Mchunu says the scourge of corruption has dominated the public discourse for many years since the dawn of democracy.
