Mchunu Speaks on Water Woes

Water and Sanitation minister Senzo Mchunu says a protest for water delivery means the Department is working at a deficit .

Speaking at his engagement with the community in the Eastern Cape, Mchunu says issues of water shortages need to be addressed and corrected. He says water to South Africans in a right not a privilege.

Mchunu adds that the years of service of an official do not necessarily mean much if they haven’t made a difference in their space.

He says servicing the community is their political mandate.
