Gagasi FM Sports specialist Mike Makaab has had his say on who he thinks will come out on top the repeat CAF Champions League tie between Orlando Pirates and Jwaneng Galaxy, who will meet in the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League. The Buccaneers hammered Disciples FC from Madagascar 4-0 in the second leg of their first round tie at Orlando Stadium, whilst Jwaneng got the better of Namibian side African Stars 6-5 on penalties, after both sides played a 1-all draw over 2 legs.

Pirates and Galaxy met at the same stage in last season’s competition, with the Botswana Champions prevailing on penalties to prevent Pirates from reaching the group stages of Africa’s premier football competition.

Speaking on Extratime on Gagasi FM, football agent Mike Makaab expects Orlando Pirates to avenge last season’s loss and make it to the group stages.

“I don’t think it’s revenge time for Pirates but it is time to put the record straight. Pirates can ill-afford to be knocked out again at this stage of the competition, they have a really good pedigree in Africa and I am just hoping that they can play to their full potential. I see a pretty comfortable two-legged victory (For Pirates) over Galaxy,” Makaab concluded.
