Prosport International CEO Mike Makaab says both Andile Jali and Sipho Mbule have admitted that there were some issues at the club but they have been resolved.
Mike was responding to allegations of both players breaching the club’s disciplinary code. They have been on the headlines for all the wrong reasons this past week, with allegations that Jali and Mbule arrived at training under the influence of alcohol. Mbule was on the bench when Sundowns played a 1-1 draw against Stellenbosch in Cape Town.
Makaab has spoken briefly to both players for what has happened but seems to be in the past as he will be meeting them face-to-face and also attempts to meet the club. Meanwhile Sundowns coach Rhulani Mokwena did not confirm the reports as he eluded the fact that the players are human beings and have weaknesses and he will have any player’s back.
