Minister Launches Labour Mobile Buses in Newcastle

Employment and Labour Minister, Thulas Nxesi, says the opening of the employment centre and launching of mobile buses in Newcastle  is to assist the youth especially those who are job seekers in and around the area.

The centre is aimed at connecting job seekers to potential employment opportunities around the Amajuba district Municipality.

Speaking during the launch, Nxesi says it is important that such centers are opened to help the youth adding that this initiative is part of commemorating youth month.

Nxesi further says mobile buses will assist the community not to travel long distances.

Nxesi also touched on the issue of youth high unemployment rate and raised it as a concern.
